About the role
As a Senior DataStage Support Analyst, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting high-performing data integration solutions that enable critical reporting and regulatory-compliant analytics within the healthcare payer domain. You will be a valued member of the data engineering team and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional IT teams.
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and optimize ETL/data integration workflows using IBM InfoSphere DataStage
Provide production support, troubleshooting, and resolution for data pipelines and batch processes
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL, Unix/Linux, and shell scripting
Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance for healthcare payer reporting and analytics
Collaborate with business and technical teams to enhance performance and reliability of data solutions

What you need to have to be considered
6–10 years of hands-on experience in ETL development and production support
Strong expertise in IBM InfoSphere DataStage
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, DB2 preferred)
Experience working with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
Proven experience supporting production environments and resolving data-related issues
Exposure to healthcare payer domain (claims, eligibility, or regulatory reporting)
Ability to troubleshoot complex data workflows and optimize performance
These will help you stand out
Experience working in onsite/offshore delivery models
Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance standards in healthcare
Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until June 28, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $ 95,000 - $ 108,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
