Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong background in Finance and Accounting, and with specific hands-on experience managing back-office finance systems in an International Organization. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technology solutions, supporting back-office financial systems for the client.
In this role you will
- Analyze and interpret financial data including derivatives and its accounting processes.
- Understand US GAAP standards and relevant financial reporting frameworks and consult with business users in suggesting relevant adoption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and capture business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specs, user stories, and process flows.
- Conduct daily scrum ceremonies with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams and ensure smooth delivery.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking or Financial Services.
- Certifications like CFA, CPA, or CSPO is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Financial Instruments, especially derivatives (options, futures, swaps).
- Sound knowledge on Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies managing backlogs in Azure DevOps at an Epic, Feature, User Story and Task Level.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Data Analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional global teams.
