Lead Quality Engineer
About the role
As a Lead Quality Engineer, you will make an impact by driving end-to-end quality strategy and execution across a next-generation enterprise software platform. You will be a valued member of a highly collaborative engineering team and work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Own end-to-end quality outcomes across product domains, from requirements through production monitoring
- Drive a shift-left quality mindset by embedding testing strategy and risk analysis early in the SDLC
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks across UI, API, and data layers
- Leverage AI-first testing tools to accelerate automation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization
- Mentor QA engineers and promote best practices, standards, and continuous improvement across the team

What you need to have to be considered:
- 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering, including enterprise-scale applications
- 5+ years of experience in domains such as global trade, logistics, customs, or supply chain management
- Strong expertise in test automation across UI, API, and data layers (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured)
- Proven experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger
- Hands-on experience with .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET) and modern front-end frameworks (Angular)
- Experience validating SQL and NoSQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP) and observability tools such as DataDog
- Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and system-level thinking capabilities
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments with evolving requirements
- Advanced English communication skills
These will help you stand out:
- Experience using AI-driven or agentic testing tools and methodologies
- Strong understanding of system architecture and integration risks in distributed systems
- Knowledge of application security testing (web services and web applications)
- Experience contributing to observability, monitoring, and production quality strategies (APM, RUM)
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and promote shared ownership of quality
