The role will focus on ingesting and validating complex geospatial and EDI data using GenRocket and standardized frameworks. The analyst will ensure high quality data flows that support critical business decisions operational efficiency and improved services for global clients.
Responsibilities
- Design robust ETL workflows that integrate geospatial transactional and reference data from multiple enterprise systems using Informatica and related tools ensuring consistent and reliable data movement across environments.
- Develop scalable data transformation logic that standardizes heterogeneous data sets including EDI compliant feeds so that downstream analytics mapping and operational platforms receive accurate and timely information.
- Coordinate end to end data mapping between source applications geospatial repositories and target warehouses documenting business rules clearly to support transparency auditability and long term maintainability.
- Optimize ETL performance by tuning mappings workflows and schedules to minimize processing windows while safeguarding data integrity and ensuring predictable service levels for business stakeholders.
- Implement data validation reconciliation and profiling routines that highlight anomalies in geospatial coordinates address structures and EDI formatted records enabling early detection of quality issues.
- Collaborate closely with product owners data engineers and geospatial specialists to translate functional requirements into detailed technical designs that can be executed efficiently in Informatica and related ETL platforms.
- Configure and maintain GenRocket data generation scenarios that simulate complex geospatial and EDI data patterns supporting comprehensive testing of interfaces mappings and downstream analytics components.
- Support production ETL operations by monitoring daily jobs investigating failures performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes that reduce recurrence of incidents.
- Prepare clear technical documentation that captures ETL logic control flows EDI mapping rules and geospatial data handling practices facilitating knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.
- Partner with quality assurance teams to design test strategies that leverage GenRocket outputs ensuring that geospatial data pipelines and EDI transformations meet functional and nonfunctional acceptance criteria.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand evolving requirements for geospatial analytics map based reporting and digital services incorporating feedback into future ETL enhancements and backlog items.
- Apply secure coding and data handling practices throughout ETL processes so that sensitive information within EDI messages and geospatial layers is protected in line with enterprise governance standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to ETL frameworks metadata management and monitoring dashboards that increase transparency and support informed decision making.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong hands on experience in designing developing and maintaining ETL solutions using Informatica for large scale data integration initiatives in complex enterprise ecosystems.
- Exhibit deep practical knowledge of EDI standards including structure validation and translation concepts and explain how to integrate EDI flows into broader data pipelines supporting business operations.
- Show proven ability to work with geospatial datasets coordinate systems and map related attributes and describe how these are integrated into analytics platforms and operational applications.
- Apply advanced GenRocket skills to design reusable synthetic data scenarios that mirror real world geospatial and EDI use cases reducing testing time and improving coverage for critical interfaces.
- Utilize strong SQL and data modeling capabilities to design staging areas integration layers and reporting schemas that align with best practices for performance and maintainability.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and documentation skills that enable effective collaboration with technical peers testers and business partners in a hybrid work environment.
- Exhibit solid understanding of data quality data governance and control mechanisms so that integrated geospatial and EDI data remains consistent traceable and trustworthy across the organization.
