About the Role
As a Senior Manager, Field Marketing within the Software Engineering Group (SEG), you will drive SEG's market presence through industry events, digital integrated campaigns, and ABM campaign coordination. Working in close partnership with Cognizant's ISL Field Marketing function, your focus will be on Service Line-led event execution, end-to-end digital campaign delivery, and connecting SEG's content and subject matter experts into the broader field marketing engine.
You will bring together event management expertise and integrated digital campaign capability — spanning content, email, social, webinars, and roundtables — while coordinating closely with regional field marketing teams across EMEA, APJ, and Business Units to insert SEG into existing programmes rather than building parallel pipelines. This role carries a dotted-line reporting relationship into the S. Director, Field, Service Line Marketing for field marketing activities, and works in coordination with the Director, Portfolio Marketing, SEG.
In this role, you will:
- Own Cognizant, industry, and partner event execution — including Service Line-led and funded engagements such as industry conferences, partner summits, and association events where SEG clients are present.
- Map the full face-to-face event universe for SEG's target buyers and build an annual event calendar with clear business development objectives for each activation.
- Curate target attendee lists for events in alignment with Service Line strategy, and manage all event logistics including agency coordination, venue, invitations, speaker preparation, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up sequences in Winzone.
- Connect SEG into regional field marketing teams across EMEA, APJ, and BUs — identifying where SEG content and SMEs can be integrated into existing programmes.
- Identify and facilitate SEG SME participation in external events, coordinating speaker briefing and talking-point preparation with the Associate Director.
- Manage partner co-marketing event activations with AWS, Azure, and AI platform partners, tracking joint event pipeline and MDF utilization.
- Plan and execute digital integrated campaigns end-to-end — spanning thought leadership, content, email, social, webinars, and roundtables.
- Operationalize the ABM account strategy set by the Portfolio & Content AD — briefing the central Cognizant campaign team on account priorities, messaging angles, and content requirements, while tracking execution against plan.
- Coordinate with the GTM AD on post-event lead capture and CRM entry in Winzone, and report on field marketing contribution to pipeline in weekly leadership reviews.
What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- 10–14 years of B2B field marketing, event marketing, or integrated campaign management experience within IT services or technology consulting.
- MBA (Marketing) preferred.
- Proven experience planning and executing B2B events at scale — from industry conferences to Service Line-led roundtables and partner activations.
- Hands-on experience running digital integrated campaigns including email, content, social, and webinars in a B2B technology environment.
- Comfortable working within a matrixed field marketing structure — experience integrating into centralized or regional field marketing functions is essential.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous events and campaign workstreams across geographies and time zones.
These Will Help You Succeed
- Experience running ABM programmes or briefing central campaign teams on account-level priorities.
- Familiarity with hyper scaler partner co-marketing ecosystems including AWS, Azure, and GCP events and MDF programmes.
- Prior exposure to BFSI, HCLS, P&R, or CMT vertical marketing.
- Ability to self-start, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Event Impact: Successful execution of Service Line-led events with measurable business development outcomes and pipeline contribution.
- Campaign Performance: Effective delivery of integrated digital campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and qualified leads.
- Regional Integration: Seamless insertion of SEG content and SMEs into existing EMEA, APJ, and BU field marketing programmes.
- Partner Activation: Strong co-marketing execution with strategic hyper scaler partners resulting in joint pipeline and MDF utilization.
- ABM Execution: Accurate and timely briefing of central campaign teams, with clear tracking of account-level programme performance.
