About the role
As SAP senior technology leader responsible for overseeing managed services delivery and leading SAP application support and enhancement programs. This role partners closely with client business and IT stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery across SAP ERP, CRM, IS-U, C4HANA, BW, and Basis environments while driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and business growth.
In this role you will
- Lead and manage SAP Managed Services delivery, ensuring alignment with client and organizational goals
- Oversee SAP production support, system enhancements, and application maintenance across multiple SAP modules
- Drive successful execution of enhancement projects including requirement gathering, design, delivery, and quality assurance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics, ensuring consistent service delivery standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders for seamless delivery
- Optimize processes, methodologies, and delivery frameworks for managed services
- Manage portfolio execution, including revenue targets, operating margins, and cost optimization initiatives
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for application support services
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to global teams, ensuring performance and development
- Support proposals, contract negotiations, and go-to-market initiatives related to SAP AMS
Work Model: Hybrid – United States (Houston, TX)
What you need to have to be considered
- 15+ years of SAP delivery experience with strong exposure to IT management (risk, issue, and resource management)
- Proven experience managing SAP application support and enhancement programs
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing large global teams
- Strong expertise across SAP ERP, CRM, BW, C4HANA, IS-U, and SAP Basis environments
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial performance for managed services
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
These will help you stand out
- Experience in SAP IS-U or utilities industry
- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Experience driving process improvements and implementing best practices
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $116,100 - $156,500, depending on experience and qualifications.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program based on performance and applicable plan terms.
