JD Edwards Consultant

About the role
As a JD Edwards Consultant, you will make an impact by delivering complex finance transformation initiatives leveraging Oracle Financials (EBS FIN) and JD Edwards Financial Management solutions across Latin America. You will be a valued member of the delivery team and work collaboratively with stakeholders, functional experts, and hybrid teams to ensure successful outcomes aligned with client objectives in the education domain.

In this role, you will:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of finance transformation initiatives including scope, schedule, budget, and key deliverables
• Manage JD Edwards Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Distribution, Electronic Invoicing, and LATAM localizations
• Coordinate hybrid teams across onsite and remote environments ensuring effective communication and delivery tracking
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, risks, and issues, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation
• Engage stakeholders in English and Spanish, translating business requirements into actionable solutions

Work model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring attendance in a Cognizant office in Argentina.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Argentina time).

What you need to have to be considered

• 8 to 12 years of experience working with JD Edwards Financial Management and/or Oracle EBS Financials in project and AMS environments
• Strong knowledge of core finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and reporting
• Experience with JD Edwards implementations and/or AMS support across LATAM including country-specific localizations and electronic invoicing
• Solid experience driving delivery, coordinating stakeholders, and managing project lifecycle activities
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken

These will help you stand out

• Experience in the education domain managing finance processes such as tuition, grants, and fees
• Knowledge of integrations between finance systems and other enterprise platforms
• Experience working in hybrid delivery models with distributed teams
• Certifications such as PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, or Oracle Financials
• Exposure to continuous improvement and structured change management practices
